Rapper Morell all the way from Northern Nigeria has released his debut album titled "Musa Jikan Musa" this Sunday May 21, 2017.
The Hausa Hip Hop act has released the artwork and tracklist for the album, comprising 13 tracks which was recorded in Abuja.
Born on April 11 in Bauchi, Musa Akilah Morell growing up enjoyed listening to rap songs and miming on stage and has listed B.I.G, Jay Z, Mark Morison, Eminem, Mali Music and Akon as some of his music influences.
Morell’s singing ability was first discovered by Blast, a friend who had criticized his rapping skills the first day they met.
Morell was first officially introduced to music lovers in 2007 following collaboration on Rugged Man’s album “Move Something”. A few months later, he partnered on Naeto C’s Bamilo, another song that penciled him down as an act to watch out for.
Intensifying his music career, Morell and Bento Records put pen to paper in 2011.
He is best popular for his record ‘Anti-social’ featuring Olamide released in 2013.
